Will His Love Survive The Turbulent Times Part 10

Part 10 (Second Last Part)

Geet was trying her best to come out of her shell, she would herself take the initiative to go out on long drives and shopping along with Maan and under the limitless and unconditional love and care of Maan she was recovering much faster now. Rano, Simran and Raj were very happy to see her finally getting better and they too tried their best to keep their children happy, helping them in forgetting their nightmare, healing their mental and emotional scars.

Their holidays came to an end and it was time to join back college. Geet was a bit nervous and scared of having to move back to the hostel but she tried to hide her discomfort not wanting to hurt Maan any further. Geet had been really shaken when she had seen him break down like that in the cinema hall. But how could she ever hide anything from him. Before they left Maan cupped her face making her look into his eyes which just poured absolutely divine love on her.

Geet was completely lost in his eyes witnessing only pure love in them for her.

Maan (in pain seeing her suffer silently, comforting her): Gudiya, I will always be around you. You don’t worry, I will never ever leave you alone come what may.

She nodded as if assuring him that she completely trusted him and hugged him to soothe him while feeling protected in his embrace.

Maan had become over protective about his Gudiya and didn’t leave her alone even for a second in the campus and was with her all day long till it was time for her hostel to get locked. After that also he would call her or chat with her on the campus LAN till she slept. He would be the one to wake her up each morning via his good morning call and would be waiting outside her hostel longing for one glimpse of his angel. Geet felt at peace having her savior around her always and was now much more at ease and comfortable interacting with her friends. She was truly grateful to him for being there for her always at any cost.

One day it was raining very heavily outside and as usual at 10 in the night Maan called up Geet as he didn’t find her online on the college network, in fact she had been away since half an hour and he was feeling really restless. But to his utter horror her mobile was switched off. Maan felt the ground collapse under his feet and his heart stopped beating. He somehow got a grip on himself and rushed out of his hostel in the white T-shirt and black tracks he was wearing. He didn’t care one bit that it was pouring heavily and just rushed towards Geet’s hostel. It was around three km distance and he ran so fast that he covered the distance within five minutes. He reached below her hostel panting hard and completely drenched trying to figure out a way to reach her room.

It was then that he saw a tree on the outer wall and he climbed on it using it to leap over the spiked part of the wall. But as he was jumping over the barbed wire he hurt his leg and it started bleeding but he kept on with his mission and jumped down falling hard. He had now entered the hostel campus, but he didn’t even once think about the consequences. If he got caught, he would be rusticated from college but when it came to his Gudiya did he even think about himself.

Geet had once pointed to her room window when they were walking to her hostel so he tried to find a way to reach up there. He saw a pipe nearby and started climbing, it was extremely dangerous as the pipe had become very slippery owing to the heavy down pour but he somehow kept on climbing in spite of his slipping grip. With great difficulty he managed to climb the pipe and somehow held on to her balcony railing, hanging down from it.

Then he saw his Gudiya, his Jaan sitting in her room totally engrossed in the computer project she was making. She was making cute faces depicting her various moods first angry, then suddenly jumping with joy, then totally frustrated depending on how her work was coming along all the time working on her lappie. Maan was completely lost in her and her cute antics. Oh… she looked so adorable, she was truly his Gudiya, so cute, so pure, so innocent and he just kept on staring at her totally oblivious to his surroundings. He jerked out of his dreaming session as his hand almost slipped from the railing and he was on the verge of falling.

Maan chuckled at himself, how he was hanging for his dear life, getting completely drenched and yet only admiring his Gudiya. He jumped up and got inside the balcony.

Maan (didn’t want to startle Geet and hence called out to her softly): Geet…

But she was completely engrossed in her project and didn’t respond. Not knowing how to gain her attention Maan knocked on the balcony door. Geet was shocked to hear a knock from the balcony door and jerked up frightened. But as soon as she realized it was Maan she calmed down a bit but then she burst at him in anger.

Geet (opening the balcony door and literally dragging in Maan who was dripping from head to toe scolding him): Have you lost your mind? What were you even thinking venturing out in this weather? Look at yourself you are completely drenched, it is raining cats and dogs outside.

She suddenly realized he was inside girls hostel and she screamed rushing to lock her room door in case someone barged in. Maan was completely lost in his Gudiya following her each move.

Geet (screaming at him all red in anger): Have you gone nuts Maan, this is girl’s hostel. You can be rusticated if someone found out you entered the premises of the hostel (when she still didn’t hear any reply from him, she held his shoulders and shook him up) What were you thinking? (Maan was totally engrossed in his Gudiya, he was ecstatic to have his angry bubbly Geet back. Oh… how much he loved it when she scolded him like she owned him. Here Geet felt him all wet and rushed to get a towel from her cupboard. Geet wrapped his head in the towel and shook him vigorously trying to dry his hair up, finally jerking him out of his dream land) Have you gone completely mad, Maan. Don’t just stand here like a statue, damn it. I am asking you something, answer me back.

Maan (holding her hands before she literally ripped his head off in an attempt to dry him up): Shh… relax Gudiya… calm down… take in deep breathes.

Geet very innocently followed his advice actually taking in long deep breathes when he chuckled at how cutely she was following and how adorable she looked that he pulled her cheeks while she wacked him for making a complete fool of her.

Geet (in total angry form): Maaannn…..

And he ran around the room trying to dodge his angry Gudiya who was throwing all kinds of stuff at him, pen, pencil, pillow, towel whatever she could lay her hands on. They kept running around until Geet finally stopped all tired and out of breathe. Maan went to his Gudiya giggling looking at her condition.

Geet: Now at least tell me Maan what happened, why did you rush here?

Maan simply took her mobile lying on the bed and put it for charging switching it on. It was then she realized that she wasn’t on LAN as she was busy in her project and even her cell was switched off. She couldn’t even imagine what he must have undergone at that time just not able to contact her.

Her eyes brimmed with tears as to how much he loved and cared for her that he ran in that horrible weather and not caring on bit of the consequences of getting caught, he risked his reputation, his carrier, his life, everything in order to reach out to her, to ensure her safety.

She was over whelmed with emotion and hugged him tight, truly grateful to him for being there always for her. She could never thank God enough for gifting her with Maan who truly and absolutely lived only for her.

Maan (gently rubbed her back, understanding how guilty she must be feeling): Nahi Gudiya, don’t worry, it’s not your fault and see I am perfectly fine.

All became quiet outside, the thunderstorm ended as if it was depicting the peace Maan and Geet felt cocooned in each other’s embrace. They remained like that till eternity feeling each other’s heart beats.

After ages Maan reluctantly broke the hug to take a look at his Gudiya, to see if she was feeling better now. Geet was feeling relaxed now though she was also completely wet by now but little did she care.

Geet: Maan you should leave now it is really risky anyone can come and you should change into dry clothes as soon as possible else you would catch cold.

Maan nodded over whelmed at how much his Gudiya cared for him.

Maan: You also change, see I made you wet as well (he said sheepishly and she smiled. Hayee… Maan was completely lost in his Gudiya’s angelic smile)

With a very heavy heart Maan left from there while Geet kept on looking at him, praying for his safety as he climbed those deadly barbed wires and spikes. He waved to her as he crossed the hostel premises and she too waved back as he left for his hostel.

But obviously he had caught a deadly cold as he woke up the next morning and was sneezing continuously and his nose was all red. He tried to not sneeze during the good morning call but Geet could clearly see through all his weird and absurd excuses for his hoarse voice and ordered him to reach the sick room of their campus. While she made Kadha for him in her hostel mess and went there.

She very affectionately took care of him whole day long while was completely lost in his Gudiya’s immense concern for him. He was much better as the day ended all thanks to Geet’s infinite efforts.
Maan was truly hopeful he would be able to get his old Gudiya back and that one day she would be able to reciprocate his love with same vigor.

As the days passed by their friendship kept on getting stronger while Maan kept on falling more and more in love with his Gudiya. While Geet was trying desperately to suppress her feelings, her love for him, not wanting to ruin his life any further though her care, concern and longing for him gave it all away.

Will His Love Survive The Turbulent Times Part 9

Part 9

Maan’s eyes were drooping and Simran very lovingly placed his head on her lap. He hugged his mother so relieved and ecstatic to be cocooned so affectionately in her embrace and she caressed his hair rocking him to a peaceful and sound sleep after ages. Simran next placed Geet’s head also on her lap, stroking her hair tenderly wanting to absorb all the trauma both her darling kids had under gone over the past weeks. Soon Geet also fell asleep under her caring touch.

All had tears in their eyes as to how much their beloved children had suffered and they wished they could reverse the time wheel and free them of their pain and anguish.

Simran very lovingly caressed both her children wanting to take away all their pain and suffering and fill their lives with happiness. Rano tucked Geet completely in the comforter and gestured to Simran to shift her over to the pillow but she refused. She wanted to hide her dear kids from the evil eyes of the world and waned to protect them cocooned in her embrace. Tears fell from Rano’s eyes looking at the love and affection Simran had not only for Maan but for Geet as well.

Rano tucked Maan as well but as soon as she tried to cover his back he flinched in extreme pain and she withdrew the blanket immediately. He had masked his pain in front of all while he was awake but his sleep gave his heart wrenching sufferings away. All felt so guilty of having abused, cursed and tortured him beyond imagination and tears poured from their eyes feeling the pain and humiliation they had caused him.

Raj knelt down on his knees beside Maan and gently caressed his hair. His heart was bleeding while soul weeping at how he had whipped his son mercilessly. He wept uncontrollably while his body flinched in pain feeling the agony his precious child much have undergone at his hands. He very softly ran his hand over Maan’s back as if trying desperately to heal him while tears rolled down his eyes at the scars he had given his dear child not only physically but emotionally as well by calling him a curse.

They kept adoring their children all night long while tears of guilt kept on flowing at not being there for them when they need them the most rather misunderstanding them as well.

As morning approached Rano broke the silence.

Rano: How will we handle Mohinder after he comes to know the truth?

Raj: He doesn’t need to know…

Rano (interrupting him): But that is totally unfair with Maan.

Raj: I know it Rano but you know Mohinder. His family name and reputation has much higher value in his eyes than even our dear children and I just can’t let him ruin Geet Beti’s life in the name of worthless tradition and false honor. At least he is silent at present and the only thing he wants is their marriage.

Rano: But it is like taking undue advantage of Maan, his love and affection. We can’t force him to marry.

Sirman: and all this is already so traumatic for Geet, having suffered so much, is she even in the right state of mind to accept a new relationship?

Raj: You guys don’t worry, I am not saying to force them into anything, let our children decide what they wanna do in their lives. What I am thinking is that though Mohinder will be back today but he would be leaving tomorrow for one month on his business tour and by then our children would be back to their hostels. So we should just persuade him to wait till the semester end for the engagement and I will convince him to delay the marriage till they finish college. This way Geet won’t even come to know about Mohinder’s plan till semester end and we all are there to get her out of her depression by then. As for marriage they both can get to know each other better as adults in these 3 years and then we would let them decide their future.

Rano and Simran were also convinced that this was the best plan given the situation.

Mohinder returned the following day and he was pleased to see that all had accepted back Maan and Geet was much better, so now his plan for their marriage seemed all clear to him. He talked with Rano, Raj and Simran regarding the engagement and marriage to be held as soon as possible. But Rano managed to convince him to hold the engagement ceremony at semester end while Raj convinced him that the whole society will talk if they married their kids before college finished that probably their children had crossed their limits and Mohinder agreed as he was afraid of his family name getting tainted.

Later that evening Mohinder asked Rano to call Maan.

Mohinder (alone with Maan): You stay away from Geet till you both get married. (Maan simply bowed his head). I have forgiven your mistake but it doesn’t mean that I will tolerate any more of your nonsense so just remain within your limits till you are officially married. Understood?

Maan simply nodded his head and Mohinder left. Rano was standing outside the door and her heart ached to see Maan being insulted more.

Rano (tears in her eyes): Beta, I am really sorry.

Maan jolted out of his thoughts hearing Rano’s voice and he was surprised to find her there.

Maan (making eye contact but Rano was astonished to see so much disgust and sadness in his eyes): Nahi Rano Maa, mujhe is baat ka bura nahi laga ki Uncle ne mujhe Gudiya se door rahane ko kaha bulki mujhe is baat ka dukh hain ki jab unki nazaro mein maine itna gira hua aur ginhona aprad kiya hai uske bavajod woh Gudiya ki shaadi mujse karwana chahate hai. If he really believes I… I…

(Maan closed his eyes in pain dying inside as he said so) I… raped Gudiya

(his expressions changed to anger and disgust) then how can he even think about torturing her more by marrying her to her culprit. (questioning Rano, holding her shoulders and shaking her) Maa he claims to love Gudiya but what kind of love is this which is ready to forgive her abuser and make her suffer in the name of family honor, what kind of honor is this that has no value for living beings. It will be my honor if Gudiya accepts me as her life partner and I am willing to wait till eternity for her acceptance but the reason why he wants to marry us disgusts me to the core.

(No Rano Maa, I didn’t feel bad about the fact that Uncle asked me to remain away from Geet but I felt sad that when in his eyes I have done such a horrible and gruesome crime still he wants to get Gudiya married to me)

Rano was awestruck at his truly selfless love. There was probably no limit for his pure unconditional love for his Gudiya. He was not even one bit bothered about his image, his self-respect in the eyes of his beloved family, he silently bore when all cursed him, abused him, misunderstood his sacrifise, he didn’t even flinch when he was mercilessly beaten but a mere thought against his Gudiya that she could have suffered (since in reality Maan was the best partner she could ever dream of) and he was shaken up to the core, he just couldn’t bear to even think about any injustice on her what so ever. She wondered how could love be so pure, so noble, so absolute that he saw nothing other than her happiness, her smile, that nothing existed other than her.

Even God probably would have saluted his divine love totally over whelmed with his truly unconditional and selfless love and care for his Gudiya.

As days went by both Maan and Geet’s physical wounds had healed. Also under the loving care of Maan, Rano, Simran and Raj slowly even Geet’s mental and emotional scars were curing but she was still very apprehensive about going out of their home. With great difficulty Maan had managed to take her out a couple of times on the pretext of long drives, which used to be her favorite before the incident, but now it would take hell lot of forcing and convincing on his part to even stop for an ice cream or a cup of coffee.

Geet was not willing to come out of her shell, yes she used to talk to them but hardly laughed and even when she did her smile never reached her eyes. She used to remain very silent which was totally against her bubbly nature and she simply feared, despised and completely averted crowd. Her condition was silently killing Maan inside and his guilt at not being able to protect her was burning his soul.

A few days before their college was to resume Rano somehow convinced Geet to go out for a movie with Maan. The movie was supposed to be total comedy and all thought it would be a good change for her. Geet finally agreed after emotional blackmailing from all (Maan, Rano, Raj and Simran)

Maan and Geet reached the hall, she was hell scared seeing so much crowd and stuck to Maan who very lovingly cocooned her in his embrace all the way inside the hall. He didn’t even let him buy popcorns, which was their favorite activity whenever they came to watch a movie in the past, out of the fear of getting lost alone.

She tightly held his hands digging her nails deep inside his skin as they seated and he very gently caressed her hands as if assuring her that he would never ever leave her come what may.

The movie started and as all had expected it was really very hilarious and even Geet laughed occasionally and even her grip relaxed. Maan was completely lost in his Gudiya’s laughter finally relieved to see her old self at least for some time, it seemed a definite step forward towards her recovery when hell broke loose. Suddenly there was a scene in which the villain captured the heroine, Geet’s expression changed to extreme fear and she started trembling as if re-living her night mare. Maan got worried seeing the change in her and it was then that he saw the screen and realized that she was undergoing her ordeal again. The villain ripped the heroine’s sleeves and Geet screamed completely shattered.

Maan immediately got up and lifted Geet who instantly hid herself in his embrace and he walked out from the hall not caring one bit about all the jeers he was getting from the crowd. As soon as they were out he sat on the couch just outside the hall making her sit on his lap engulfing her in his embrace.

She wrapped her hands around his neck and back crushing him in a hug while hiding her face in his chest. He gently rubbed her back as she wept profusely. He let her wet his shirt while tears flowed uncontrollably from his eyes as well.

He was dying in guilt, the failure of not been able to protect his Gudiya was eating him inside, his heart was burning feeling her pain and the remorse of not being there when she needed him the most scorching his soul.

Maan (completely broken, tears flowing continuously, his voice full of grief guilt and self-loathe): I am so sorry Gudiya… I wasn’t there… I couldn’t even… protect… my doll… Oh God… I hate myself every second for having left you alone (and he wept uncontrollably just not able to forgive himself. He felt as if his heart would explode not able to bear the torture she had been going though, at his helplessness on not being able to heal, and the regret of having left her behind) It is all my fault… why… why… did… I… go.. Oh Lord… why didn’t I just die … before I left you…

Geet (jolted out of her pain and grief hearing him curse himself. She was shocked beyond words at his guilt, she realized maybe for the first time what he had been undergoing from that day till date and screamed in pain not able to bear his remorse): Maaannn…..

Breaking the hug, she was stunned to see his head bowed and tears rolling continuously. She was shocked as realization dawn on her that her agony was slowly killing him in guilt, that he was dying each second to see her suffer. Her misery was burning his soul in hell day by day. She cupped his face wiping his tears but he didn’t look up, he just kept falling more and more in his eyes seeing her suffer so much. She realized the torture his heart must be bearing to see her silence and witness her reseeding into a shell day by day. She couldn’t see him suffer for no fault of his, he had always been there for her come what may.

Geet: Maan please look at me, it is not your fault. What you did for me no one and I mean no one could do. You sacrificed not only you body, heart, soul but even your self-respect, your everything just for me, for my stupid and foolish mistake. You were never wrong, you always warned me, it was I who like a fool believed him. Please don’t blame yourself. (when he still didn’t look up) I am not even worthy of your divine love yet you kept on showering your unconditional love and care on me and all I ever did was give you pain in return.

Maan (He immediately kept his hand on her mouth silencing her, shaking his head. She was his Gudiya, his Jaan how could he bear her blame herself.): Nahi Gudiya…

Geet hugged Maan promising to herself that she would come out of her grief and not let her savior suffer because of her while Maan just cocooned her in him embrace wanting to absorb all her pain. He wished he could bear her suffering on him so that his Gudiya could be free of all burdens.

Even God was speechless today witnessing his unconditional love and happy to see it being reciprocated with equal fervor.

Part 8

Rano Maa hugged Geet also, rubbing her back trying to absorb the pain, the humiliation and trauma she must have undergone at the hands of that monster. Her heart went out for her children who had suffered so much all alone without any support from them. She was really grateful for Maan to have saved Geet and helped her overcome her ordeal. She could never thank him enough for how he supported her and was always there for her irrespective of the circumstances. She felt so guilty for having misunderstood his sacrifice and made up her mind to not let him suffer any more for his truly unconditional love and care for his Gudiya.

Rano decided to tell Mr. and Mrs. Khurana the truth as she couldn’t even bear to think what his parents must be undergoing. They deserved to not only know how innocent and pure their child was but also his greatness, his truly divine love. He was their pride, their ‘Maan’ and he could never let them down.

Rano: I will just be back, you two take care of yourselves.

Maan nodded assuring her that he would never ever let any harm touch his Gudiya and Rano Maa was overwhelmed at his love. She kissed him on his forehead determined to make it up to him, she pledged to give him back his self-esteem at any cost.

She left for the Khurana mansion where his parents were stunned to not find him in the store room.

Rano: Maan is at our place.

They were shocked and immediately wanted to apologize for Maan’s behavior, already he had ruined their family and now he again went there but Rano stopped them, she didn’t have the heart to see him insulted any further and she knew how much Raj and Simran would hate and curse themselves after knowing the reality.

Rano (tears flowing at what all their ideal kid had gone through): He is pure and innocent, he didn’t do anything.

Raj and Simran were aghast, they died a zillion deaths, their child was innocent and they leashed him out and destroyed his soul.

Rano narrated the whole ordeal to them and the ground collapsed under their feet, they felt so so guilty and ashamed for what they had done, it felt as if they ripped his soul out and burned it in hell. They abused him, tortured him, called him a curse when in reality they weren’t even worthy to have a child like him, they were the curse on him and had ruined his very existence. They completely broke not even able to fathom what all their divine kid that to undergo at their own hands.

Simran (weeping profusely): What have we done, we doubted him, destroyed him and ruined his life by blaming and cursing him for something so atrocious, so gruesome, so cruel which our hearts knew he couldn’t even dream of. Oh Lord… I couldn’t even recognize his sacrifice… I am just not worthy of being his mother. Please punish me for what all inhumane things I said to him… please God.

Raj (falling on his knees): Oh God… I wish I had died before I raised my hand on him. (tears falling endlessly) I whipped the life out of him, how could I be so cruel, so ruthless, so heartless, he was my pride, my ‘Maan’ and I even failed to realize his greatness. Oh Lord… I have fallen in my own eyes today, what have I done. (he banged his hands again and again till they started bleeding trying to punish them for their sins) Mera Bacha, how could I raise my hand on him… how could I (he wept uncontrollably not able to bear what he did to his precious child)

Rano: Sambaliye apne aap ko Bhai Sahib aur Bhabhi. Maan needs you, if you both break down like this who will ease his pain, who will heal his bleeding heart.

(Please control yourselves Bhai Sahib and Bhabhi. Maan needs you, if you both break down like this who will ease his pain, who will heal his bleeding heart.)

Raj and Simram were not able to bear his pain and suffering anymore and rushed along with Rano to the Handa Haveli. Maan and Geet were surprised to see Raj and Simran there but one look at them and they realized that Rano Maa had told them everything.

Maan died seeing his father’s bleeding hands, bowed head and his eyes stuck to ground and he rushed towards him

Maan (holding his bleeding hands, tears flowing endlessly from his eyes seeing his father’s condition): Papa, yeh aap ne kya kiya. (Papa, what have you done?)

Raj (not even able to meet his eyes): Maine jo zadhatiya tere saath ki hai uske liye toh mujhe tarpa tarpa kar marna chahiye (Maan shook his head not able to bear his father’s guilt)

(I should be cruelly and mercilessly beaten for what all atrocities I have done with you)

Maan: Nahi Papa, it is not your fault. I know my words broke your heart and your principals could never forgive me for what I said I did with Gudiya, I know it was your love for me that completely destroyed you, please don’t feel guilty Papa, you can never be wrong.

Maan hugged his father who wept profusely hugging his dear child.

Raj : I am so so sorry, mere bache, how could I raise my hand on you, I wish I had died before that. (Raj had never even let a scratch come on his precious child, his Maan and today he had ripped apart his skin making him bleed so badly, for absolutely no fault of his. He was dying by the second and Maan understood his father’s ordeal)

Maan (aghast at what he said): Nahi Papa, aap aise toot jayenge toh humara kya hoga, please papa it was never your fault.

(No Papa, if you break like this then what will happen to us, please papa it was never your fault)

Maan almost crushed him in the hug wanting to end his father’s misery and guilt. Both were trying to soothe each other in the hug wanting to absorb all the pain and suffering they had undergone.

Simran didn’t even have the heart to face Maan and she stood facing her back to him weeping endlessly. Her conscious taunted her for how she had abused and cursed her heart, her son. Maan looked at his Maa suffering silently and his heart went out for her. He broke the hug after he felt his father relax a bit and went towards his mother.

Maan: Maa aap apne Laadu ko dekhoge bhi nahi. (Mother, won’t you even see your Laadu) (Simran used to very lovingly call him Laadu)

She broke down completely hearing him and turned around hugging her child dearly tears rolling endlessly from her eyes. Maan also wept in his mother’s loving embrace. Her warmth was what he had missed the most.

Simran: Mera bacha, ho sake toh apni is abagi Maa ko maaf kar dena, mere Laadu. Mein teri Maa kahalane ke layak hi nahi hoon, how could I be so cruel on you, how could I doubt my heart, my child. How could I be so mean, so gruesome. How could I … (and she broke down more in the hug)

(My child, if possible please forgive your unfortunate mother, mere Laadu. I am not even worthy of being called your mother, how could I be so cruel on you, how could I doubt my heart, my child. How could I be so mean, so gruesome. How could I …)

Maan (breaking the hug and wiping her tears): Maa, please aisa math bolo, mein janta hoon aap mujse kitna jyada pyar karte ho, isiliye aap se woh sab bardash nahi hua.

(Mother, please don’t say like this, I know how much you love me, that is why you couldn’t bear all that)

Simran hugged him again not able to bear the guilt of how she had despised him and jerked him away. Her heart and soul bleed at how brutally she had treated her dear child. She howled uncontrollably in the hug just not able to bear the pain and humiliation her kid had undergone at her own hands.

Maan (trying desperately to calm down his mother): Please don’t cry Maa. I can’t see tears in your eyes Maa, it kills me inside. (But how could she not wail, her heart bleed at the agony she had caused him and she was dying each second under the burden of her guilt) Maa aap mujhe apne haatho se paneer ka parantha nahi kilaogi. (he deliberately said that to end her misery, so that she would be able to overcome her grief. He knew she could never see her darling child hungry and this would awaken motherly love and care in her ending her anguish.)

(Mother, won’t you feed me Paneer Parantha from your hands)

Simran (as expected she controlled her emotions and broke the hug): Abhi liye mere bache (I will just get it, my child)

Saying so she rushed to the kitchen to make his favorite paneer paranthas. Rano also went to help her, feeling light that at last Maan was finally reunited with his beloved parents.

Raj went to Geet and she hugged him. Maan also came and sat near them.

Raj: Kyun meri bachi, tujhe apne bare papa par bharosa nahi tha? Why didn’t you come straight to me, why did you both suffer silently?

(Why my child, didn’t you trust your Bare Papa? Why didn’t you come straight to me, why did you both suffer silently?)

He hugged Maan too and all three wept engulfing each other trying to let go of all the trauma and nightmare that had hit their family and destroyed their happiness. After ages they broke the hug calming down a bit.

Geet: Bare Papa I trusted you but Papa… (tears fell from her eyes knowing her father would never except her)

Maan: He doesn’t need to know it, please Gudiya promise me you won’t tell anything to him.

Geet: But he will always misunderstand you…

Maan (interrupted her): Let him

Raj (placing his hand on her forehead): Maan is right meri bachi, your father should never come to know about anything, let it be the way it is.

Before Geet could say anymore Rano and Simran entered with paneer and aaloo paranthas for their loving children. Simran very lovingly fed Maan who was so pleased to have his beloved mother back. He also made a bite and fed his mom and dad fondly.
